St. Francis Prayer Beads (two medals) with prayer card

These exquisite handcrafted St. Francis prayer beads will help deepen your faith. They can be an integral part of your prayer practice as well as handsomely displayed on a wall next to a picture of Saint Francis.

Nine wooden beads, one for each stanza in the prayer of St Francis, make up this beautiful strand in monochromatic tones. Each wood bead (12-13 mm) is oval in shape, has a variegation of warm tones and feels lightweight to hold with a smooth finish. They are capped on each side of the bead with two copper beads (4-5 mm) one round and one square in shape with a scalloped edge. The strand is finished with an ebony bead (10 mm). This bead is accented with eight of the copper beads that are used throughout the strand.

At the bottom there are two St Francis medals; one (1" in diameter) medal is brass with an etched likeness of Saint Francis on the front and on the back it reads "Lord make me an instrument of thy peace." The other medal is enameled and oval shaped with a color likeness of St Francis on the front. The back reads "Pray for us." These medals are accompanied by three tiny crosses, copper, brass and gold-plated.
