Quan Yin Prayer Beads Citrine & Lapis Lazuli

The prayer came to me one day in a meditation and the idea for the prayer beads followed shortly thereafter.

This unique strand of prayer beads is made with Citrine nuggets which are rectangular in shape and approximately 10 to 12 mm in size. There are six beads total for the three stanzas of the prayer. The Citrine is beautifully accented with Lapis Lazuli beads, 4 mm. For a total of 12 beads.

There are three wooden beads that are used for the beginning of the prayer, "Quan Yin goddess of compassion and mercy" and are handmade by an artisan. The dark color perfectly contrasts the color of the other beads. They are embraced with faceted Labradorite beads, 6mm, For a total of six beads.

This strand (approximately 8" in length)is brought together with another Lapis Lazuli bead, 6 to 8 mm. And a brass plated pewter bell depicting the image of Quan Yin on both sides and written in Sanskrit are the words "peace and safety."

This piece is a beautiful addition to a shelf or altar space and part of a daily prayer/ meditation practice.
