A unique collection of different Faith symbols with multicolor shades of Jade. This design reflects some of my time in seminary, as I studied different religions and faith traditions. They all hold value and Have Faith was born out of my willingness to honor different belief systems.
This pendant encompasses Christian and Asian symbols. The pewter filigree prayer box with the symbol of the cross is approximately half an inch long and a quarter inch wide, and it does open to hold your prayers. There is a small cross with a heart in the middle. The pewter Asian symbol at the bottom is of Quan Yin, in Chinese mythology she is the goddess of compassion and mercy. And an antique gold-plated charm of Buddha. There is also a brass round charm that is approximately a 1/2" in diameter, "Faith."
All the the beads are Jade, which comes in many different colors and there are a total of 9 Jade beads and some metal beads. The charms hang from a large lobster claw clasp which does open and close so the order of the charms could be changed. The bail is embellished with a scroll design.
The chain is approximately 28" long with a 1 1/2" extender.
