This rope necklace can be worn, for most people, at three different lengths. As a long rope, a double long necklace or wrapped three times around the neck for choker length. The total length of this necklace is approximately 50" with a beautiful, gold-plated rhinestone magnetic clasp. The magnetic clasp is very strong, to open it, slide the pieces in opposite directions rather than trying to pull it apart.
The Abalone chips are very special indeed! They were found in a shipping container from the 1960's. The chips range in size from five to approximately 10 mm. Some are flat, some are like little chunks that are shaped organically and some have curved edges. All of them have beautiful varying ocean colors from white, brown, blue and green. There are a total of 15 Abalone pieces.
The Mother of Pearl ranges in colors from very white to variegated white and beige, to darker beige in color. Sizes for the Mother of Pearl round beads are 4 mm to 8 mm in size. The oblong shaped white Mother of Pearl pieces are approximately 5 mm in size. There are four, 4 mm Mother of Pearl beads and four oblong pieces of Mother of Pearl. There are six, 8 mm size round Mother of Pearl beads and two beige/tan colored Mother of Pearl beads.
The chains vary in color from silver and gold-plated, to copper, to gunmetal. The links vary in sizes from 3 mm to approximately 10 mm on the large brass links.
